Implementation of Ecological Restoration Works

Would you like hands-on involvement with ecological restoration projects in the North Shore and Hibiscus Coast area?

Wildland Consultants is a progressive consultancy specialising in ecology, biodiversity and restoration planning and implementation, and committed to the care and enhancement of our natural environment. We are looking for Field Team Leaders and Field Team Members to join our Albany based Auckland ecological restoration field team.

These roles are field based and require hands on skills and experience in pest plant control.

  • A genuine interest in working in the outdoors and achieving ecological restoration goals
  • Native and pest plant identification skills
  • Experience in using various methods to control pest plants
  • Good communication skills
  • Decision making skills
  • A team player and have the ability to work independently
  • Have a good level of fitness (this is a physically demanding role)
  • A good work ethic.

Applicants may be required to occasionally travel away from home for up to a week at a time.

Applicants with CURRENT Introductory/Advanced Growsafe/Registered Chemical Applicator, Approved Handler, Chainsaw and First Aid qualifications will have a distinct advantage. Site Safe and ATV qualifications would be beneficial.
