We’re the team at Treescape. A team of full service, certified specialists in arboriculture, ecology, horticulture, landscape, and grounds maintenance. Our humble beginnings have now led to 17 branches across New Zealand and Australia. Although our growth since 1981 has been incredible, we still pride ourselves on being a family-owned business and appreciate our whole team as our greatest asset.

We are currently looking for experienced Ecological Field Technicians to join our team on exciting projects in and around Auckland, Waiheke, and further a field.

Bring your problem-solving skills, and ability to make work happen. Making sure all your work is carried out according to contract specs, you will enjoy being part of a crew delivering top end ecological outcomes. With pest animal and plant control being your primary focus, you are flexible to work away from home for short periods of time.

You will have:

  • A Full NZ Driver Licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
  • 1 year of experience in leading a crew/team
  • Valid First Aid Certificate.

Desirably you will also have:

  • An Introductory Growsafe certificate, National Certificate in Agrichemical Application or Registered Chemical Applicator
  • Experience and formal training in chainsaw use
  • A firearms licence and experience in commercial pest control
  • Experience in identifying pest plants and animal sign
  • Practical 4 wheel drive & light utility vehicle experience
  • Practical experience with drones.
