Salary range – $25/hr + accommodation provided for the contract duration
Full-time, fixed-term 4-month contract, commencing 1st May 2025 to 31st August 2025
We are currently leading a project to increase understanding of the root system architecture of widely-spaced and mature kānuka, tōtara and poplar trees in Auckland hill country. We will collect root morphology and tensile strength for all three species on two soil types.
We are seeking a full-time fieldworker to be a key member of the fieldwork team.
The role will involve assisting with all aspects of data collection in-field, including root distribution counts and tensile strength testing.
The fieldworker will also help with site preparation and equipment handling and ensure fieldwork is carried out safely and efficiently.
Accommodation provided for the duration of the contract based at Auckland Hill Country Farms (2 sites to be confirmed) in Whangaparaoa, Auckland.
