Based in Wanaka, this is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to become part of a committed and professional team achieving conservation outcomes across Central Otago.

He angitūtanga: About the Role

As Ranger, Biodiversity your focus will include organizing and delivering work programmes relating to:

  • threatened species management
  • ecosystem restoration
  • animal and plant pest control work

He kōrero mōu: What we are looking for

The ideal applicant will have:

  • A natural heritage or conservation management qualification
  • Experience in threatened plant and animal species work
  • Project, contract, and budget management skills
  • Experience with computer systems
  • Excellent relationship and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working collaboratively with others to deliver and achieve conservation outcomes
  • A full drivers licence
