Conservation Volunteers New Zealand (CVNZ) is a community-based not for profit that is dedicated to the protection and restoration of Te Taiaio (environment) in Aotearoa.

With offices in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Punakaiki, each year we engage thousands of volunteers on restoration projects across the country. With the incredible support of volunteers and field staff, to date we have planted more than 2 million native trees, cleared 800 hectares of invasive weeds and 14,000kg of rubbish. That’s not to mention our predator control, species monitoring, the scores of people who have found full time employment through our Conservation Work Skills programme and thousands of volunteers connected to Te Taiao and educated on conservation issues across Aotearoa.

By becoming a member of the CVNZ team, you will be using your passion for conservation to enable this mahi to continue and Papatūānuku to thrive.
