Our Catchment Integration Division has a crucial role to play in promoting and supporting positive on ground environmental change in the community. You’ll work with others to develop a catchment plan, and with your team, be involved in the implementation of elements of that plan.
As a key leadership role operating in a progressive and dynamic working environment, you will need an equally outward focus and an organisational perspective and approach. Building and maintaining relationships with iwi, our key stakeholders and the community is critical to success in this role.
You will need strong leadership skills to guide your team to achieve their full potential and may possess technical skills in land management or education to deliver work. We are looking for someone who also has the ability to build a work programme for existing and new work that places the community at the heart of delivery across a catchment area. It will be important to ensure the work delivered meets the Council’s objectives and statutory obligations.

An initial offer of remuneration will be made within the range $90,000. – $99,000
