Are you passionate about a future for Banks Peninsula where the native biodiversity flourishes in the absence of exotic pests?

The Pest Free Banks Peninsula are seeking applications from suitably experienced people to fill the following team leader positions:

Senior Team Leader position (one position)

Pest Free Banks Peninsula are seeking a Senior Team Leader to lead the operations for predator eradication work in 2 targeted areas of Banks Peninsula. The Senior Team Leader will need to be highly innovative, a great communicator and able to rapidly adapt to information on the ground.  They will be open to new technologies and approaches, whilst also thoroughly understanding the strengths and weaknesses of current eradication tools and methods.  A key part of the role will be translating the eradication plans into operational systems and milestones for the field teams.  Experience in predator eradication projects will be highly desirable.  The position will be employed on a fixed –term basis by Banks Peninsula Conservation Trust on behalf of the Pest Free Banks Peninsula partners.

Team Leader positions (two positions)

Pest Free Banks Peninsula are seeking two Team Leaders to lead the field teams being established for this ambitious eradication project.  As a Team Leader you will need to love being out in all weather in rugged terrain and able to lead and grow a small team.  You will need to understand eradication methods and the mind-set and skills needed for you and your team to succeed. The positions will be based on Banks Peninsula and will be employed on a fixed –term basis by Banks Peninsula Conservation Trust on behalf of the Pest Free Banks Peninsula partners.
