The Opportunity

The Otago Regional Council are looking for a Community Coordinator – Biosecurity to join our Environmental Implementation on a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) basis, in our busy Alexandra or Queenstown office.

As a Community Coordinator, you’ll work directly with landowners, catchment groups, mana whenua, volunteers, and partner organisations to support practical action on some of the region’s most challenging biosecurity issues. You’ll be confident engaging with communities, facilitating workshops and meetings, and building trusted relationships that help shift behaviours and support compliance processes where needed.
